Please need help teenage male must lose weight?

ive been over weght since i was little and now want to lose weight during high school. I was wondering if there are weight loss pills or dietary supplements that might help. ive been excorcising at night and during the day 30 crunches/situps, running up and down the stairs of my house for 20 minutes and walking three miles ( 1.5 at a time) and have lost 5 pounds over 2 months. any suggestions on diet or weight loss drugs?

  1. go to the gym to do cardio workout.

    Crunches and pushups wont help you lose weight, it will make you stronger.


  2. There is not magic weight loss cure and supplements aren't a good idea

    Eating healthy and exercise is the best option and you usually don't see results immediately.



  3. I encourage you to research these horrid ingredients

    Things to Avoid (No benifit to the body):

    1) Hydrogenated oils (All Hydrogenated Oils are Trans Fats)

    2) High Fructose corn Syrup

    3) Aspartame (Equal and its in a lot of sugar-Fee stuff (Not a good alternative to sugar Better off just cutting back on the sugar, Its not a alternative if you are diabetic its actually bad for diabetics)

    IF you want a sugar substitute try Sweet'n Low (or a generic)

    Sprenda hard on digestion, avoid all other alternative sweeteners.

    4) phosphoric acid (in Colas) all SODA are to be avoided (If you have trouble going without try organic or Natural Soda alternatives)

    5) Fried Foods (eat rarely, special Occasion)

    Check the ingredient's you'd be surprised at what foods you will find which have these poisons.

    this may sound like a lot but its not really, just cutting out the bad stuff alone and using the alternative versions would make a insanely big different alone.

    avoiding those things alone and doing nothing else. You can prob. maintain a healthy weight, but to lose weight it may take more work on your part until you reach a healthy weight.

    6.  Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep you loose weight while you sleep and your body functions better. When its rested the body heals from the stresses of the day while sleep mentally and physically.

    7.  High Fiber diet is a must at at least 35 Grams.

    8.  High Protein (I just use Protein powder its easier) then worrying about the foods you eat, though chicken has very high protein.

    9. If you cook use Canola Oil its the most balanced in Healthy fats like Omega 6, 9. or even better try Smart Balance Omega as your for-all oil, I use it even for baking in place of butter or margarine  as well as cooking.

    10. Drink a lot of Tea, Green Tea drink as much of tea you can its insanely healthy green is known to help with weight loss.

    Of curse drinking any tea is good helps with digestion, though Black tea can be acidic, Eat first.  Other teas are fine on empty stomach.

    11.  A Colon cleanse best after a detox tea which you can buy in any grocery store I'm pretty sure Safe, easy and cheap.

    I got my sea salt in the Dollar Tree *don't know if you have one* otherwise its about 3-4 dollars anyways basically:

    MIX 2 Tsp. Of Sea Salt (not iodized) with 1 - 2 Quarts of warm filtered water drink that after a night sleep BEFORE you eat anything, as fast as possible but don't make yourself sick. I've taken 10-15 minutes to drink it, it will work either way just takes longer when u take longer and may not be as powerful, basically what that does is Give you a bowl movement within 1 hour of drinking it, should be done within 2 hours (usually less) basically you pass all that liquid and as you can imagine it takes waste with it. you can do that 2 times in a row if you have the time. or if you feel you have a lot more inside you or you can do it as much as you can do it once a day if you want, as far as I know its safe I do it whenever I feel I've gained a little or am a little bloated, I'm at my ideal weight I'm about 5'9 141 pounds, and I am 29 years old.

    12.  HIGH PROTEIN, any source is fine, High I mean about 50+ Grams a day, and HIGH FIBER about 40 Grams, may seems hard but its not so hard. just takes some thinking, Dark Kidney beans work I eat them from the can but that's just me it has at least 17.5 grams of fiber alone per can and 28 grams of Protein, plus its 3.5 servings of veggies, and it has antioxidants all that jazz.

    12.  Spinach, broccoli any greens, corn any veggies or fruits you like by all means eat them as snacks they are filling and have fiber and antioxidants.

I'd say count your calories and eat more lean proteins...join a school sport like cross country or football.  The more active you are the more you will tone and thin out.  My nephew just joined track and he is a big boy but he is slimming down very quickly with a monitored diet and exercise you can too.  No pill for you...you are still young so you might be able to do this the healthy way.  If you see no results in 2 months you should see your school coach or a doctor....for help.
