Please needed to know the cost of living in Sydney?

We're simple family with 1 kid and planning to move from singapore to sydney.

Can you please help the cost of living in sydney for the whole of month.

Rent house (1 room), groceries (with diapers and milk), Check up for baby like vacine, Broadband, mobile phone plan, Electricity, gas, water and Cable (TV).

Please include the cost of shopping (2adults and 1 kid)and watching movies for twice a month.

4,962.09 or 6,300 AUD is this good budget for one month?

Sydney is by no means as expensive as Singapore.  I think you could live a more than adequate lifestyle from what you have described for under $3000AUD per month.

That would be well and truly more than enough AUD.

Sydney is a very expensive city.

I lived in the Bondi region which was GORGEOUS but expensive.  2 bedroom flat (complex of 9 flats all joined together ontop of each other) No laundry. $300 per week that was 4 years ago.

Food is reasonable, a family of 3 $200 max per week for food, your other questions are silly so i won't answer them like movies etc... In the outer suburbs would be a better option.

Sydney is expensive by Australian standards, but not that expensive. You will be able to live very well on AUD6300 per month with a lot left over, particularly if you're happy to rent such small accomodation and have such modest entertainment requirements.
