Please please please help answer this?

Hi my aunt just made an appointment with my doctor to get tested for diabetes because she saw that I was drinking a lot at night. The only time I remember having my blood sugar checked is when my sister came to visit my family from florida. My sister has diabetes and she ticked my finger because she was curious about what my blood sugar was. I think this happened at least 7 months ago maybe longer. But I cant remember what my sugar was. I only remember my sister saying that my blood sugar was high. I think it was like 300 something. Do you guys think that I have diabetes? Please answer. =(

No one can surely tell that you have diabetes or not unless you really consult your doctor. Have some tests done. The earlier the better. That will prevent more damages.

You shouldn't rely on things that you are not sure enough. The more scientific, the better. Furthermore, it is better for you to have regular check-ups. You should also prevent from drinking a lot, knowing that diabetis runs through your family.

300 is a spike but it may have been from eating.

Go to a doctor and let them run labs on blood samples.  That's the only way to tell if you have diabetes or not.

300 is a high number. It might be wise to have a physician check you. Sometimes just a diet and exercise program will help to lower your bloodsugar and get things under control.
