Please please please help with my broken zip!?

Question

I only have a few hours left until I need to wear this skirt for a concert I'm going to, but the problem is, when I try to zip it up, the zip gets to the top, but the middle part just like ... comes undone so there's like this big gap in my skirt.

PLEASE, if anyone knows if it is possible to repair this at home with minimal materials, please help me, I'm desperate!

if no body gives any good answers, then i suggest to just find something else to wear, or maybe borrow something for a friend if it HAS to be a skirt

The zipper needs to be replaced.  The teeth can wear off of plastic zippers very easily.  This causes the zipper teeth to no longer hold together.  It will cost around $12 to have a tailor do it for you.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Put the skirt on, zip it up, pin it closed, and have someone sew it shut. The zipper will need to be replaced regardless, so it won't matter if you need to cut it to get the skirt off.
