Please put these department stores in order from best - worst & best prices - worst?

I'm new to the US and I have no idea the difference between any of these stores, can someone please tell me whats most expensive and wheres the best place to shop?

JC Penny, Walmart, Kohls, Sears, Macys, Costco, Kmart, Target... please add any if I've missed them

It would depend on what you are shopping for but the most expensive store on your list is Macy's

The best to worst stores are:

Macy's Sears J. C. Penny Walmart Target Costco KMart

Costco is mostly for food
