  1. It is when your egg is released from the ovary into the fallopian tube

  2. It occurs around 14 days before your next period, when the body decides to pop out the next egg. One month it will come from the right ovary, the next month from the left ovary. When the hormones are right, the egg pops out and lives for between 6 and 24 hours. Any sperm in there waiting, or any that arrive soon afterwards, can fertilize the egg. The rest of the follicle hangs around making progesterone for 2 weeks and if the egg implants it will keep making that hormone until the placenta is formed. If the egg doesn't implant, it will die off, stop making progesterone, and your period will come. Progesterone is what gives women PMS which is why pregnancy symptoms and PMS are very similar.

  3. It's the only time of the month that a women can conceive or become pregnant. It's when she releases an egg from your ovary towards the fallopian tube and if you're had intercourse three days, two days, or one day before you may become pregnant. If not you will have your period about two weeks later. It normaly occurs in the middle of your cycle.
