Please rate my Haikou?

Question

LIttle green frog

sitting on a log

thinking of his cause

I wrote it in 8th grade and it was used years later by the teacher as an example of an excellent Haikou...wouldn't you agree?

i like it. simple and to the point.

It is nice but I'm not familiar with the metre, fairly certain that Haikou are 5,7,5 and it is more direct than most which makes it unique, because the majority of haikou are more abstract. It does a great job though.

took only 34 years to learn Haikou
