How does it rate to Kings Island or Cedar Point. The website isn't that great. Is it worth the money or should I drive to Cedar Point?

  1. "So Great Your Feet Will Flip Off! ...Literally!"

  2. I will admit this, I was tired and sore because I visited this park after an intense week of amusement parks, but I felt slightly dissappointed with Kentucky Kingdom. The two rides I enjoyed most were Chang (stand-up coaster) and Twisted Twins (dueling wooden coaster), and Thunder Run (wood coaster). Other coasters include T2, Greezed Lightnin', and Roadrunner Express. I only had a few hours to flash my Six Flags season pass and ride the major coasters before having to get to the airport (which is VERY close to the park by the way!)

I have not been to Cedar Point yet, but I'll take King's Island over Kentucky Kingdom anyday. I know about the coasters at Cedar Point and I would definately go there. There is a small park fairly close to Louisville Ky (1.5 hrs drive maybe?) called Holiday World, and if you like wood coasters, get to HW asap! Holiday World is one of my favorite parks. You can look up these parks (or ride names) on the roller coaster database: www.rcdb.com.

  3. Kentucky Kingdom is a cool park! I have a season pass and I go there on almost a daily bassis... they have exciting rides like the Chain and Twisted twins! It is also Really clean! But you shpuld bring alot of extra money... because the food and other carnival rides can get pretty expensive! They also have if you bring a coke can in you can pay kids price witch is 24.99!

  4. It's an ok park, it has a handful of good rides, but I would go to Kings Island or Cedar Point over it anytime!  I would recommend the drive to Cedar Point.
