Question

Misery rise as serenity dies

For love has embittered the soul

What is the remedy for a broken heart

A heart thats no-longer whole

From the inner-core there's faith no-more

Sorrow reigns as i'm left to cope

Drowning in the depths of despair

With dreams buried in a graveyard of hope

All the things she once said

From the sweetness of her lips

And the lingering thoughts of passion

Are memories hard to eclipse

We once spoke the consenting language

Of our gladdened hearts

But now love has taken flight

Leaving two souls ever apart

Pain insist, the heart tries to resist

The torture of this torment

Why must it be so hard to forget

A love the heavens once sent

From pleasure to pain

Being apart was not my hearts will

From ecstasy to agony

I love her to much to hate her, still

wow. hope your planning to give a copy of that to the girl. either way, I have to say you actually have talent. although i dont know what you plan to do with it. Poetry is so very underappreciated these days.
