Question:

Please read, career involving animals.

I researched careers online for awhile, but many of them involve constant moving. As you can see, I'd want a career where I could stay in the same area, but I'm open to trips.

I do well in english and science. I'd prefer if I didn't have to use math often though. I'm aiming for at least a Bachelor's degree, maybe even a master's.

I want to do something that involves animals, or saving their environment. It doesn't have to be hands on work, although it would be nice if it was.

Also, I'd prefer if the career made an above-average amount of money.

I'd like a lifestyle where I could have some time to myself too. I also plan on owning a dog in the future, so I can't be too busy.

I guess this question is directed towards those who are in this type of field, but if you have any knowledge to offer, feel free to do so.

I'm a little unsure what I'll end up doing, as I'm young, but this is why I'm asking people, so thanks in advance.

  1. I think you're putting too many restrictions on your plans.

    You want a career that/where:

    1. possibly only need a BS

    2. pays a lot of money

    3. doesn't require you to move

    4. gives you a lot of free time

    5. involves working with animals

Wouldn't we all love such a career!!!

I don't think such a career exists.  Most careers working with animals pay poorly and require lots of your time.  Those that pay better definitely require at least an MS, often a PhD, and you'll likely have to move.
