When I was a child I found an octagon shaped charm with a yin and yang in the center of it and I Ching writing around it. I didn't know this at the time obviously. Anyway, I always thought it was bad luck for some reason, so I would throw it away. Every time I moved into a new house, I would find it while I was unpaking and throw it out again. I just moved again ad while I was talking to my boyfriend, I saw it around his neck. He said he found it in his keesake box. Now that I know its a form of good luck, I'm not throwing it away. But while researching it, I found that its not balanced correctly. For example, it says that in the new Bagua (thats what its called) Fire is always on top, nut on mine, heaven is. In the Early Bagua, the yin yang is positioned differently and it still does not match with what it should be... Any ideas?? Heres the page of what it is.

  1. I would say that you most likely threw away separate copies of the same charm and that is why you were able to do it several times.

To assume that it somehow defied physical laws is to ignore a more reasonable explanation.

That aside it is a charm, it means nothing unless you assign meaning to it because charms have no volition.

  2. OMG!!! DON'T EVER THROW THAT AWAY AGAIN!!!

You have the Early Heaven Order

What is found now is the Later Heaven Order

  4. I agree with the person whom posted above.

Objects are meaningless until we give them meaning. To you, that may seem a sign of good luck.

To me, that just seems like a piece of metal you keep finding. And, you notice it more because it was a memorable time in your life. You naturally look for things that catch your attention.

    Think about it.

If you really like something, or are very affected by something, don't you notice it more than other things?
