Please read I need help!!!?

Question

I am currently going through a police background investigation for job as cop in CA. My BI recently just sent revised medical form to take to my pschyical. Is it ok to call and check and see how everything is going with the procces and also confirm reciept of the new forms? I really want the job. Is calling bad? Does it show interest in the job?

i know exactly how you feel. i was a nervous wreck never hearing anything. i started call once a week. they got mad. i told them i needed the job and i would quit calling if they would at least tell me something.most backgrounds will take 6-12 months or more.i was called and told to report to the oral board. i walked out and straight to a magistrate to be sworn in as a officer. i then reported for duty about 6 hours later.my back ground took ove 9 months.just be patient and they already know it is hard for you.

I would call espically you deserve it because of the time and info you gave them to fill out all that paperwork. Have they interviewed your neighbors yet? Goodluck!

There is nothing wron with finding out if they have received your application. You should have a main number to call.
