Question:

Please read. Runtime Error! System restore not working!! Help?!!?!?

I accidentally uninstalled Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office...(I'm not sure how...) And I don't know how to get it back! I can't pay money to download it again....It came with my computer.

It's Windows XP and I tried the "System Restore" thing and it doesn't work!

Every time I try it, System Restore comes up it doesn't load (there's just a white background.) and I get this:

"A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?

Line: 148

Error: Object expected"

If I click no, nothing happens.

If I click yes, then I get this message:

"An exception 'Runtime Error' has occurred in Script.

However, no debuggers are registered that can debug this exception. Unable to JIT debug."

I've tried to fix Runtime Error before and nothing seems to work.

Internet Explorer doesn't work for me and hasn't for at least 8 months or so, so now I use Mozilla Firefox...

Is there another way to perform system restore?

Is there somewhere I can download a full version of Microsoft Word 2003 for free?

I have to fix this because it's my parent's computer!!

Thanks in advance!!
