Please recommend 3* hotel in Berlin during christmas.?

I was very happy at Apartmenthaus Mitte, last week. It's a fully self catering apartment, so does not meet your 3* request, but it has a full kitchen, and therefore is a nice place when you want a home-like atmosphere.  The people are very nice and they also run a real 3* hotel, Pension Peters in the area of Savignyplatz, on the west end of town.  If their hotel is anything like the Apartmenthaus, then it would be great for you.  Costs are relatively low.

Try the Heart of Gold hostel and hotel. Their location near S+U Friedrichstrasse cannot be beaten and the private rooms meet the required "3-star".
