Please recommend places to buy and brand for a new equestrian?

Hi,

I am in West Chester, Philly. I would like to equip myself with new saddles, tracks and may be something else for English ride. I currently look for your advice about where to buy those stuffs? Do you know some favorable local stores or any on-line retailer that you always go to?

Also, I do not know much about the brand in this game. Considering the large expenses in training courses, I hope I can buy products in a reasonable price and reliable quality. Would you please give some thoughts on it？

I always go to Dover saddlery. Their online website and mail catalog are incredible! You can find anything you need there.

We have been buying a lot of tack on E bay recently.  But you have to know what you want and the price it should be.  Stubben is a good name, Pessoa, Crosby.  Get a catalog from someone and check things out.

When we lived near Philly, we shopped for tack at the Amish shop in New Holland.  Don't know if its still there.
