As I researched to clarify my view of Service Learning, I viewed many definitions, and found that they all contained similarities. The one that caught my attention the most stated that "service learning is a method of teaching, learning and reflecting that combines academic classroom curriculum with meaningful service". This helped me establish the differentiation between service learning and community service. While you may study various subjects through your community service of choice, the time spent there is not granting you with instructional guidance in your career choice like service learning offers. Although they both benefit the community, service learning is benefiting you, as well.

I'd just fix the last few sentences.

"While people explore various subjects through community service activities, the time spent there does not provide them with instructional guidance in their career choice, unlike service learning. Although both benefit the community, service learning also benefits the individual."
