I have decided to miscarry naturally. I found out last week that my baby had stopped developing at 7 weeks, when I should be 8 with no heart beat =[. I went in for spotting. That was a week ago. I spotted for a few days then stopped and 3 blood clots came out. . Since then on I have been bleeding. It doesn't soak a pad but when I sit on the tiolet, blood comes out fairly easily. I've been cramping for the last two days. A little stronger than period cramps. Feels like I've been doing sit ups for hours. But the pain is tolerable. All I've passed was blood and a few blood clots. Do you think this is coming to an end there is more that need to be passed?

And please share you story. Thank you.

  1. I had a miscarriage at 17. It started with a little spotting, although not really any cramping at about 7 weeks (although I think I was further along). After I spotted for about a week I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. When I got up blood just seemed to pour out of me. I was terrified and the cramps were horrible. I went to the hospital with my husband where I passed huge blood clots (about the size of baseballs) and continued to bleed a lot. After all of the pain  (physical and emotional) I still needed to have a D&C to get the rest out. With how much I lost I still believe that I must have lost multiples. It was one of the worst days of my life. Today, however, I have two beautiful, fairly healthy boys, and another baby (girl x) on the way.

Hopefully you have passed everything. To be sure, go to your doctor. Best wishes.

  2. I had a miscarriage several years ago when I was 17.  It started out with spotting which turned into heavy bleeding and the passing of clots.  It was "natural" if that's what its called as I never had a D&C.  I went on to have two healthy children!  Best wishes.

  5. Well, I miscarried at 14 weeks myself, and let me tell you it was not a pleasant experience.

The day before, I had some light bleeding and some mild cramping, I monitored it throughout the day, and it got worse so I went to the ER. They examined me, and said I was miscarrying and to expect it to happen within the next day or so. Early the next day, about 3 am or so I woke up with the most painful cramps i've ever had. Basically labor pains, and they kept on for about 5 minuites every half hour or so. Around 10 am I finally was able to get up and go to the bathroom. I ran a warm bath, and soaked for a while. It didn't help, but it made me feel better. Then I got up, and went to the restroom and thats when it happened. Excruciating pain, and a sac that had my baby in it. And then, the worst part was I had to pull my unborn child from myself because I couldn't pass the whole sac.

A very horrible experience, one that I would never do again with choice.

I had a miscarriage a few months ago. I was only 8 weeks, and I opted for a D&C. Took an hour total, and they put me under for it. Woke up, had really no bleeding, and went home a half hour later.
