the acceleration due to gravity on the moon's surface is one-sixth that on earth. if a person can jump 2.5m high on Earth, how high can the same person jump on the moon, assuming this person starts off with the same velocity ?

  1. first you do 1/6 of earths gravity

    1/6*9.8=1.63

    then multiply 1.63to 2.5=4.08

    thats the height
