Please someone who knows what they are talking about answer this question:?

This is the third time I have asked this question and I have yet to get response that will actually HELP me. Whenever I launch yahoo launchcast I am unable to hear the music but it the clock indicates that it is playing. The only thing I am able to hear are the ads. Please someone who knows what they are talking about answer this quesiton.. How do I fix this problem? I have tried everything including updating windows media player to 10, and everything that they suggested in the help section for launchcast. QUESTION: HOW DO I FIX THIS?

No answer, just questions.  Click Start. Click Run.  enter dxdiag       click OK.   In the dxdiag window, click the sound tab.  Click test direct sound.  Perform the test.  Click the music tab. Click Test Direct Music.  Try test wth each of the four entries.   Click start, right click My Computer.  Click properties. Click Hardware, click Device Manager.  Check for Yellow Explanation Marks or Red Marks.  If all that looks Ok, then in your Control panels navigate to Sounds and Audio device and make sure your sound scheme is set to Windows Default.  I don't care how many times you asked your question or what the responses were, but without performing the above tests, it is not fair to expect a resolution of your probem.

I see your message.  I haven't a clue.  Circumvention - play launchcast music under Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Sorry, I couldn't help.

check if your speaker in good condition.

maybe the driver for your sound is not updated. IM me if you want any other details...

i had the same problem once. what i did was uninstall launchcast radio in the add/remove programs list, then i reinstalled it again, now i dont have that problem anymore(just a host of others)lol. go to "start", control panel, add&remove, then uninstall yahoo launchcast, then try reinstalling it. hope this helps, good luck. ps. you might have to uninstall yahoo messenger and reinstall it.also, instead of starting the launchcast from your messenger window, go to the yahoo music site, start your player playing from there, then it should connect to your messenger.
