Please suggest 'cheaper' accommodation very near the Marriott Park Hotel in Rome at Colonnello Tommaso Masala

I will attend a conference here early October but the rates are just too high, I am looking for a cheaper alternative preferably within walking distance, can be a B&B, Guesthouse, Self catering apartment or cheap hotel, prefer not to pay more than 100 Euros per night or less- I want something "simple" for 2 nights!

I did a search in the postocde area and 00148 and there doesn't seem to be an large range there.  However, try the link below, out in the dates and specify the max price range.

There are a number of hotels under €100.

Melia Roma Aurelia Antica  - from €76

Hotel Pisana Palace - €58

Hotel I Triangoli - €48

Hotel Princess

However, most of the hotels are 3 to 5 kms from where you want to be near to.  I would advise you to book soonish as you will be coming into peak holiday season.

During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.
