Contrary to the common belief, Goa, during the rainy season, has its own charm. Although the sea will be mostly out of limits, the lush green hills provide a wonderful opportunity for trekking. If you're staying in Calangute, walk all the way towards the right (when we land on the beach) towards Baga, and when you can't go further, stopped by the hill, climb it ! It's fun if you love trekking, and the view of the sea from the top of the hill is heavenly ! Then climb down the other side to reach a secluded and mostly unknown virgin beach called "Little Baga", one which CANNOT be access by a vehicle. It's fun, especially when you're looking for a tiring day, a great adventure and a good night's sleep.
