umm... ouran host club? idk that's the only anime ive seen that has to do with love and ive only seen the first few minutes of it. not sure if it is a manga though.

Miki Aihara is one of the best shoujo artists/authors out there!

Two of her manga are on onemanga.com and they are Hot Gimmick (completed) and Honey Hunt which was cancelled but it was really, really good.

I also read Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden by Yuu Watase since Yuu Watase is an experience mangaka which beautiful artwork.

If you'd like a romance manga with a strong central character that's able to become the shyest person ever, try "Othello", although the story doesn't revolve so much around school as it does a band (there are school scenes! And it's just a great read!)
