  1. how tall is it? in us gallons?

  2. I would need to know both the length, width, and height of it.

    Volume = Length * Width * Height

Though make sure all units are the same, such as feet. If you measure the length in feet then you need to measure the height and width in feet also.

Length in feet * Width in feet * Height in feet = Volume in cubic feet

Length in inches * Width in inches * Height in inches = Volume in cubic inches.

  3. you have to give is height, length and width. b/c if it is one foot long, it could still be several feet high so we cant tell you how many gallons without the correct measurements? If its 1ft. height by 1ft. length then its probably around a 15 gallon tank.

  4. here this website tells you after we get a hight i think its a 15gallon but not positive without the hight http://www.firsttankguide.net/calculator...

  5. Tanks are usually measured in inches.  Sounds like a 15 or 20 gallon tank.

Look at the bottom of this page:

    http://www.fishlore.com/ConversionCalcul...

Enter your  tanks measurements in inches and it will give you the exact volume of it.

  6. take a 2litre waterbottle and find out for yourself

  7. sounds to me like a 10 gallon aquarium

  8. I assume that your tank is 2ft x 1ft x 1ft

    2 ft = 24 inch = (24 x 2.54) cm = 60.96 cm

    1 ft = 12 inch = 30.48cm

Hence The volume of your tank is = (Legth x width x hight) cubic unit

                                                    = (60.96 x 30.48 x 30.48)cubic cm

                                                    = 56633.693 cubic cm

                                                    = (56633.693 / 1000) liter

                                                    =56.63 liter = 57 liter (approx)

    Now, 57 liter = (57 x 0.264172037) us gallon

                       = 15.06 us gallon.

If the length is 1.5 ft

then it will be near abuot 22 gallon.

    Hopes it help you.

  9. I have such a tank. A fish tank of 2 by 1 by 1 ft. stores 56 liters of water. if i guess right it is 15 gallons.
