  1. nope. Its all pop music now and horrible hip hop stuff. Which is why i delve into the deep dark realms of alternative rock.

oh, and dont use "g*y" as an insult, its just not cool

  2. It's d**n sure alive in me.

  3. Always. There are lots of people out there with an affinity for the golden oldies, it just so happens though that rap, pop, etc. are mainstream. I always look at it through the perspective of: if the classics become mainstream, and more liked by the younger masses, it will lose all of it's original meaning.

  4. It is still alive. The classics are great because its real music.

  5. Classic Rock will *never* die

  6. As long as the members of: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Stones, ACDC, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Queen and many many others are still alive and performing and have millions of fans than h**l yeah. And even after all of them will have died, we classical rock lovers will have taught our children to teach their children to listen to it. The beauty of it is that it will always sound incredible, no matter when. It truly is classical and no global obsession with terrible, second-hand, commercial music will ever change that. Who will listen to 50 Cent 20 years after he's retired? No-body. Will there still be people listening to The Beatles 20 years after that? h**l yea...

  7. yes it is, i love classic rock

    **** MTV BULLSHIT!!!

  8. h**l YEAH ITS STILL ALIVE. There might not be many new bands producing the same raw amazing sound but its out there. All me and my friends listen to is classic rock.  Why would anyone want to listen to a song about a guy banging a girl with a hot *** in a club. WTF. JImmy Page, Robert Plant, Paul Mccartney, and John Lennon are real lyricists. ughh

  9. I agree with you and with the many sayings out there:

    Rap: 75% of c**p

    Retards

    Attempting

    Poetry

The worst part is that the people who actually make the music, not the rapers, (lol rapists) are not getting any credit.

Also, YEH! Classic Rock is way alive. Guitar Hero has totally revived it along with bands like Velvet Revolvers and Foxboro Hot Tubs. (look em up)

The saddest things ive ever heard were when rock was trying to be infused with rap. Like the "red hot chilli peppers", "rage agaisnt the machine" and "audioslave". Total c**p.

  10. First off, dude, g*y is not an insult, it's a sexual orientation. Second, classic rock is not dead. Mastodon's new album (which hasn't come out yet) is supposedly very influenced by classic rock, so we'll see... There's also all those retro bands, like Jet and all them, but they kinda suck. If you're worried about classic rock dying, start a band, and play some badass classic rock. Until then, I would suggest listening to "The Final Cut" by Coheed and Cambria over and over.
