Please tell me about cold agricultural storage, companies that build them, websites I can get detailed information about it from. Which countries are good in post harvest storage. Is it possible to have a cold storage warehouse?

they are just coldrooms, used for storing vegetables not only in your fridge and in your supermarket, but also on the farm, they can range in sizes, they are made up with these walls that keep the cold in and stop the heat from the outside heating up the coldroom. there is a thin sheet of metal on the inside, and on the outside of that is a thick layer of Styrofoam, about 15 cm thick, and on the outside of that is another thin sheet of metal, the styrofoam is the main thing cause that wont heat up , so the outside metal can heat up and it wont heat up the internal sheet of metal , so the coldroom can stay cold. There is normally an aircolditioning unit of some sort inside pumping cold air in and keeping the room at the right temperature.

Storage is more about environmental control, not just cold or just dry. It is more frequently also atmosphere; different gases at changing concentrations. Pick a specific rop and then you can get the best tailored storage recommendations.

There are many types of cold stores.  Chill stores are used to store fresh fruits and vegetables.  Freezer stores are used for meat and for frozen goods.  Each type of fruit and vegetable has different optimum storage temperatures and atmospheric requirements. Even different varieties of apples need different treatment. Many countries have good cold storage companies.  USA, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Turkey, Argentina etc etc.
