Juice, water, and liquid fasts are a common and easy way to get rid of toxins and waste products stored in the body. The 'Master Cleanse' is a good fasting process, allowing you to not feel hunger during fasting. Although fasting can be very healthy, do not use it to lose weight. It can mess up your metabolism and cause you to gain weight faster afterwards. 'Fasting' is just not eating any food. If you feel like fasting off of meat, or dairy products, or even just a certain thing, like eggs or blueberry muffins, you can do it for any reason. Good luck fasting ;)
