Please tell me about fuels?

hey friends i dont have any idea about what fuels are used in what vehicles tell me something as what caars use deisel and what what use petrol and what about heavy vehicles.

In trucks, buses (heavy Vehicles) generally Diesel or CNG is used

In Cars there are different versions they generally run on Petrol. But the same car may be available in diesel also.

ok well mostly in trucks, bus's and any sort of 4wd will use deisel. most other cars use petrol or if not petrol they run on gas...

Diesel is traditionally used in machines that pull push or basically move very heavy objects/loads . Diesel engines have a lot of torque.  Torque is brute force basically.  Diesel motors are generally a low performance motor as to acceleration but they also get more MPG, Especially when hauling heavy loads.  Recently cars use Diesel motors more and more now with turbos to raise the HP and lower the torque for better acceleration with the added bonus of better MPG than a gas car usually.  Diesel motors are a workhorse they can go longer with less wear than a gas motor.  Nowadays car makers claim they have designed diesel motors that last just as long as the "big semi truck" motors even tho they are being used like a gas car (short trips lots of stop and go) The jury is still out on that one.... So far i have not seen any evidence they are living up to this claim..
