Is it true that military hospitals will not allow any pain medication to be taken during labor and delivery?

  2. False. They use injectable epidural medications and oral analgesics as well.

    I got the epidural, then a spinal block for an emergency c-section.

    I was also told to ring the nurses if it was getting close for me to take more pain meds.

    You totally have a right to pain relief!

    I delivered at Nellis AFB, by the way.

  8. I have three children, all born in Mil hospitals, and each time my wife had an epidural.

    Whoever told you that is full of it.

  9. LOL   no it's not true...had my daughter at Portsmouth naval hospital 12 years ago and i got pain meds.  

  10. When my mom delivered my sister in Subic Bay, they gave her meds. Same with my brother at Pearl.
