please give me some examples of how much someone strived in the early years..and how happy they are now.

i am in a very depressing hard situation and i want to know some inspirational stories to get through this

At the age of 15, he left school in Germany because of bad grades in several subjects, such as history and languages.  

Having the wish to continue his education he applied at Zurich's Swiss Federal polytechnic to become a teacher.

Failing the entrance exams he had to attend a technical school.
