  1. Greetings!

While teaching I lived in the West End.  I assure you there is no greater magic on earth.

    Good Luck

  2. Charlotte Street has a range of great restuarants - including cozy romantic places. Its also not too busy, which is nice.

Nearest tube s Goodge Street on the Northern line.

  3. mcdonalds love

  4. Smollensky's in Canary Wharf or Vertigo 42 in Bank or Origin Bar & Dining Room in Coent Gardven. All offer great service and very impressive enviroments.

  5. Sorastro just off Drury Lane.

Good food, strange decor, live opera at weekends, erotic murals in the toilets (well the gents at least)

  7. Tiddy Dolls is the best.

  8. Well.... If you mean swanky romantic, I'm not good on that... someone took me to Quaglino's once and that was an amazing experience and great food (and must have cost him and arm and a leg judging by the amount people were leaving as tips people in the toilet!)

But I reckon nothing beats little French places for a romantic eve out. I liked Le Sacre Coeur, 18 Theberton Street in Islington and Le Mercury, 140A Upper Street in Islington, which are both good value for money and La Trouvaille,

12A Newburgh Street Soho, which is a bit pricier. Don't forget to book for the last two!

  9. Try 'The Sugar Hut' (Toptable.co.uk), this is a very atmospheric restaurant (actually voted so), where you can have privacy if you want.  My daughter (22) has been there and this has been one of her restaurant experiences.  It's priced a little more but apparently worth it.
