my son has never done well with teething, but those top back teeth are causing him terrible pain. he was hitting his head, slapping ear, and getting up in the middle of the night. I though something was wrong with him. I took him to the doctor and found out that those back teeth were the problem. He won't let me brush is teeth. I finally got a look and sure enough, both of them on both sides are popping in. I gave him tylenol, motrin, teething pills, something cold to chew, every thing I could think of, but he's still in pain. He slept a bit better last night, so I guess it's getting better. I hope all the others are easier. In your opinion which ones were the most difficult? He has four top front, three bottom front, one bottom back, of course the two back top killers.

  1. Yea the back  teeth are the hardest on kids! Once he gets through this, he should be done teething for a while. In fact I found out that the kids only start with like 16 teeth or so and the rest come in as they get older but you would never even know they were "teething". Last dental appt my 9 yr old was still teething! Hopefully it'll be over with soon. Good luck!

  2. For us the BOTTOM molars were the worst.  The top ones popped through without us even knowing.  Hopefully, the bottoms will do that for you.
