For boys; 1. Soccer  2. Swimming  3. AFL (Australian Rules Football)  These are for junior sports.

Aussie rules isn' that popular in queensland (them crazy banana benders dont know nothing about quality sports)

But they have one AFL team in brisbane and soon to be a second in surfers paridise.

Rugby Union and League is popular.

Basketball isnt huge but they do have a few teams.

Cricket is an aussie fav so Queenslanders must like it a bit.

Surfing. They have lots of racing car events aswell.

Just an observation.

I noticed you are asking a lot questions about Australia and I remembered you mentioned at one time that you are writing a book about this great country of ours.

While that is a good thing to do - writing about Australia, I just wondered if people who will be reading your book would realise that the information you are telling them is collected from Yahoo!Answers?
