Please tell me the date when the enrollment for Medicare Part D starts and ends again.?

I want to enroll for prescription assistance with medicare. What date am I able to start this year and what date is the cut off?

Enrollment will run from November 15 through December 31 for a January 1 effective date.

Be aware that you will have a penalty. The penalty is 1% of the national average of all Part D plans for each month you were eligible for Part D but didn't have it. This penalty is added to your Part D premium every month forever. For example, if you were eligible when Part D started in May, 2006, your penalty starting in January will be just over $8 per month.
