  1. I think organic sludge is made up of living organisms, or once living, and inorganic the opposite.


  2. Organic sludge is generated from organic compounds (for example: dyes, lacquers, pigments, etc.)

    Inorganic sludge is generated from inorganic compounds like heavy metals like copper, bismuth, lead, actinides, etc.

    No sludge will be exclusively organic or inorganic. The sludge is decided by the predominance of the group of compounds. For instance, organic sludge would have 70% organic waste and 30% inorganic waste.
