links if you will.

If you are being taught this in s*x education classes, then I think there must be a conspiracy to get as many teens pregnant as possible.

how do you think In Vitro or sperm donation works if sperm dies the second it hits the air?

  1. It doesn't. I've never even heard that...maybe teens really ARE getting more stupid!

  2. It doesn't die immediately. It dies eventually.

As long as it's wet, the sperm should be considered active. Because if it's still wet, that means that millions of sperm inside haven't "hit the air" yet. If you took some of that s***n and examined it under a miscroscope, the sperm cells would still be swimming around like it was the Olympic trials.

  3. I always thought they could survive for like a day on the outside of the v****a, where obviously there is air?

  4. i actually heard it on t.v.    :P

  5. Lol if people actually belive that the only word from me to them is NAIVE

  6. God just sees you donating to the sperm bank, and says to the sperm, "I WILL LET YOU LIVE!"

  7. I heard this from my brother's girlfriend who heard it from her sister who heard it from her aunt who heard it from her brother who heard it from his uncle who heard it from his sister-in-law who heard it from her mother who heard it from her father who heard it from his aunt who heard it from her cousin who got it directly from FOX NEWS!!

Can you imagine that? IT MUST BE TRUE!!!

  8. it doesnt it dies in an hour if its on a dry surface and in 6 if its in a wet one

  9. You silly conspiracy theorists

I learned from WikiAnswers that sperm doesn't actually die the second it hits the air, despite the common misconception.

"Sperm don't die upon contact with air...I wouldn't hold up much hope for the survival of the human race if they did. There have been cases of women who have become pregnant without full intercourse as sperm have leaked at the exit. "

  11. just another dangerous urban myth that can get a lot of girls pregnant

  12. Yeah sperm can live 30 minutes outside the human body without scientific intervention like freezing or nutrients.
