Question:

Please tell me your Juice fasting experiences?

I am currently on a juice and water fast. I am juicing organic fruit in the morning. Vegtable juice in the afternoon and water throughout the day. I plan on having a few more glasses of fruit through out the day. Everything is home juiced. I am doing this to clean out my body. I also want to give my body a break. Tell me you stroies to guide me through. This is my 1st fast. I am doing it over the weekend.

  1. It doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.  I eat right and then I don't worry about things like that.  The body is self cleaning and I doubt if fasting would really help it function better.  If I had to live on juice even for a day I would pass out.  I use a lot of calories because I am active.  I would pass out.


  2. I got headaches but all in all after about two or three days you start feeling really good.

  3. I've done 3 day fasts. They are a good: mind, body and spirit cleanse. Done along with yoga, or other meditation, they are great. I wouldn't go more then 3 days without including soy milk in your fast.

  4. want to clean out your body?  Eat a couple bowls of raisin bran sprinkled w/ some wheat germ or oat bran...

  5. you only have to do it for about a day or 2... any more than that and you will lack a lot of nutrients and start feeling very tired. It does work, as far as giving you a nice fresh feeling. GL!  Sounds like some awesome juice as well ;)
