This is a report from of a elementary school  Principal's where opened a sink hole  in one of the floors of a classroom after a fire alarm went off, this report  sent  to the  parents and relatives of the students of the school

Okay. It is a letter informing the sales rep that due to some seismic alarms that were installed in April by his company the school was able to ensure that everyone on the premises on May 9 was evacuated and was safe when a seismic event (sink hole) in the basement damaged the school. He went on to describe the fact that they were celebrating Mothers day (May 10 in Mexico) and that many mothers were present in addition to the normal amount of people.

edit - It sure seemed like he was saying that the alarms did their job. He said that they were active until 6pm that evening.
