  1. I'm understood is ผมเข้าใจแล้ว

actually by adding แล้ว it means you have already done the action. In this case; understand.

The past  tense as well as future tense in Thai is by adding preposition indicating time, like จะ

ผมเข้าใจ becomes ผมจะเข้าใจ I will understand. Or adding the nown which indicates time like tomorrow or yesterday.

    ผมเข้าใจตั้งแต่เมื่อวานนี้ I understand since yesterday

    ผมจะเข้าใจพรุ่งนี้ I will understand tomorrow.

It's a mistake to think that the Oriental languages that deal with very complex ideas of myths, beliefs and religions will not be able to describe tenses. Just that most Asian languages opt to specify the time concept by adding specific timeline into the sentence to indicate it. This is same as most Asian languages; at least in Malay, or Indonesian, it's the same as Thai.

A student of language may find it's also difficult to understand and do most conventional studies believe the origin of languages came from the Indo-European roots: Sanskrit and Latin. It seems to me that Chinese and the rest of their related language like Thai, Korean, Japanese are from a totally different rules and roots. Yet, it also seems that Chinese has a much longer history than Latin or Sanskrit. I could be wrong here, but Chinese history go back ten thousands of years.
