1.Compare the oil industry to other industries.

2.What are the benefits of oil?

3.What are the alternatives and why aren’t they currently being used?

1. Oil industry's pollute generally more than other industries.

2. All of America revolves around oil, manly for transportation.

3. Electricity is not being used because if you go on vaction in your car, lets say you run out of power, then what? no electricity stations, no plug. plus oil gives cars more horse power.

1. They are messing more people over financially than the other industries tht I know of.

2. Oil is used in a lot of different consumer products. I.E. gas (just google it)

3. Ethanol. I don't know. I guess compatibility to the vehicles already manufactured.

1.  The oil industry rocks.

2.  Cheap, accessible, lots of it left.

3.  Solar, Electric, Hydrogen. They are all most expensive (currently) and in the experimentation phase to some degree.

1. One of the few industries whose product's worth is changed daily, and affects literally all other markets

2. Cheap, easily accessible energy

3. Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Nuclear...either not cost effective or, as the case with nuclear energy, and existing stigma against it
