^ click that link and its someone i know very well, what the h**l is the the white stuff?

The white is charcoal atop tobacco.

"   Once you have lit up some of the specially made charcoals, you carefully place them on top of the bowl with the specially made tong.  You breath in throught the hose end, and exhale out the light smoke.  Once too much smoke is trapped inside the body of the Hookah, you can gently inhale into the hose, and the smoke would clear out throught the one way valve.  The valve has a small steel ball inside it, which traps in the air inside the body.  Once you gently inhale into it, the ball untrapps the smoke and clears it out, letting you have a clearer, smoother inhale.  

    For every bowl of Sheeshah, Three (about sqaure inch) charcoals are used"

Hookahs, water pipes like in this pic, are rented out in many venues.  Around my city there are restaurants that do it with tobacco (sometimes with flavor) and disinfect mouthpieces in between use.

Well it looks like he has a beer bong...Or something like that.  I didnt see any white stuff, unless the tube color is white.  Or it could be the froth that the beer gives off.
