  1. If it's turning over battery and starter motor are ok.

Then it is either fuel or electrics.

Check spark plugs, leads, fuel pump.

Above are most obvious, very difficult to diagnose further online

  2. Do you want to borrow my bike? LOL

Sorry, I am a woman and I don't do cars

    Tracey xx

  3. you'll need to be a bit more descriptive than that!

    any dash lights on?

have you tried someone giving you a push?

have you hooked up jump leads and tried?

the more you tell the better the picture we can paint of your problem.

  4. Fuel?

    Battery sounds ok

Could be the Alternator. Get a voltameter and check for the output, I don't know what it should be for a Volvo but Vauxhalls are around 14.4 if it's low then there's your problem

  5. I would start by 1. Have you replaced the spark plugs, and air cleaner.(three things you need is fuel, air, and cumbustion)

                           2. make sure you have gas and the fuel pump is operating(you should hear a humming sound for 3 seconds)

3.If it does not start then have a auto parts store like (AUTOZONE) do a free code check and clear.Sometimes the computer in the car will not start if one of the sensors are open.

    I hope this helps.Good Luck.

  6. Hate to pee on your shoes with this but - it could be any number of reasons - bad plugs, bad plug leads, bad fuel, faulty lambda sensor, faulty Management Unit - the list goes on

  7. Problem fuel pump gone out, is it getting fuel.

  8. more info...is it sparking?...fuel in?...past faults

  9. A Volvo40? - What a piece of s**+ t - get another car
