Plot Outline: 5 Points???

When I say Plot Outline I mean the thing that looks like it is part of a heart monitor. (i'll include a diagram)

Anyway, I know some parts are:

-Rising Action

-Falling Action

-Climax

-Resolution

What is the first part?

Diagram: -^- its alot bigger than that, but thats the basic drawing

    intro

    rising action

    climax

    falling action

    resolution

    the intro is the flat part before the slope. the slope is the rising action. the climax is at the top of the slope. the falling action is the downward slope to the flat line that's the resolution.

    Exposition -  information needed to understand a story.

    Complication -  the catalyst that begins the major conflict and involves the characters in the conflict.

    Climax - the turning point in the story that occurs when characters try to resolve the complication; the highest point of dramatic tension.

    Resolution or Denoument - the set of events that brings the story to a close.
