  1. 1> y = (9 over 5) x + 9

    2> y = (5 over 8)x + 0

    3 and 4> sorry i cant do the graphing for ya

  2. The generic formula for a line in slope-intercept form is:  y = mx + b

    So first, you need to find the slope. which you can when given two poiints.  Slope is the "change in y" / "change in x": so:

    m = (0 - 9) / (-5 - 0)

    m = -9 / -5

    m = 9/5

    Now that we have and m, x, and y (well, we have 2 x's and 2 y's, but only need one), we can solve for b.  Just pick one of the points to plug into the formula:

    y = mx + b

    0 = (9/5)(-5) + b

    0 = -9 + b

    b = 9

    So your formula is:

    y = (9/5)x + 9

    The same steps can be done on number 2.

  3. others gave 1 and 2

    graph of 3 is a straight line parallel to the x axis at y-2

    4)  straight line parallel to the y axis at x=4
