  1. Okay, here goes nothing...

If you want to get your viewers to actually sit up and take note of your presentation, if you have to package your information in a way that offers a benefit to them or speaks to their self interests.

Here are some different approaches to consider:

    1. APPEAL TO THEIR BANK ACCOUNT. Start off your presentation with a message like "How Quality Control Can Double Your Sales."

    2. MAKE IT SOUND SIMPLE: Don't complicate the message. Make Quality Control sound easy to implement:

"5 Easy Steps to Improving Quality." Everyone can remember five simple steps. Make it sound easy and people will be more attentive.

    3. MAKE IT A CONTEST: Perhaps you can turn your presentation in a contest where each team has to brainstorm different ways the company can help improve quality. Mix the teams up so you have input from various areas of the company on each team. This will stimulate camaraderie and allow people who don't often get to work together to interact. After a few minutes, have each team select a spokesperson to present their ideas to the full group. You will have some repeats and overlap, but everyone will feel involved. Have the same teams answer various questions throughout the day. For instance?

    - How can sales contribute to quality control?

    - What is quality?

    - How do our customers measure quality?

    - How do you measure quality?

This type of interactive exchange can be very positive.

I'm not sure if this what you were looking for. But my best advice to you is to try avoid just making a bunch of slides and reading them to the group. That's insulting to everyone's intelligence. The more interesting you make it, the more measurable your results will be.

    I hope this helps.
