Pls can anyone recommened a good holiday park in cornwall , newquey for end of aug for my family?

me my husband and three boys of 4, 6, 13 of age would like to go away end of aug08 too cornwall area or newquey can you recomended a holiday park to stay at ?

I live in Cornwall, and I have answered MANY question similar to yours. Newquay is NOT the nicest resort in Cornwall, it's full of drunks, druggies, and low life, and if you have children, it's best avoided.

Cornwall has some of the most beautiful beaches, villages, and resorts in Britain, but I simply cannot understand WHY Newquay holds so much fascination to people from "up Country" IT IS A DUMP!!! If you would ONLY take advice from people who live in Cornwall, and really KNOW the area, you can avoid a holiday from h**l. If you love Blackpool, then go ahead, and book a break in Newquay, as it's loud, brash, and rough, but if you wish for a more peaceful family holiday, I would opt for Looe, Fowey, Polruan, Mevagissey, but I would say Looe, which has lots of things for little kid's, (and bigger ones) The beaches are lovely, and the place doesn't get half as crowded as Newquay, which is easier to travel around and see other things. Peeeeeaaaassse!!! DON'T go to Newquay, as it really is the roughest resort in Cornwall, and there are MUCH MUCH nicer places to go to.

Pictures of nearby Polperro, which is the most photographed village in Britain, this really is a much nicer part of Cornwall.
