  1. ask for a promotion, or raise, considering everything you are doing, or tell them you'll take your skills elsewhere. If they don't budge, then you can do better than them.

  2. you really need to talk with your supervisor about it.  if you keep being silent about it, they might think it's okay with you to be bypassed.

  3. It is always easier to find a job when you already have one.

Before I left I would have to ask why.  If for no other reason to get some constructive criticism.

Then shake the dust off your feet and move on.

On the other hand be thankful you have a job and take good care of it until you have another.

  4. you have to start making waves to be noticed. first talk with your boss; then to his boss till you get to the top top boss and get the job you deserve. good luck.

  5. I'd approach the boss and ask why you're not being considered for these positions since you're training people for them.  There must be some kind of reason, I just don't know what it might be.

  6. You've been working for the same company for 4 years?  You haven't recieved a promotion?  You whould have started looking for a better job with chances of promotion.  I don't even think of a lateral promotion as worthwhile.

Find your next job THEN tell the boss what you think of his using yhou.

  7. It's better to look for another position elsewhere. Also, try to examine your strengths and weaknesses. Try to examine also your promotion system if its based on merits, education and experience, or "padrino" system. If you can, try to add more education and training to your profile.. The average of a person staying with a company nowadays without an increase in incentives particularly salary and promotion is 2 years. 4 years is way too long..

  8. It's time to look for another job. A good company or boss to work for shouldn't need you to ask them for a promotion. They should have already recognized your good work. With good hard work opportunities should present themselves.

  9. Take your skills elsewhere, leave the company for a better one. You are so good at training newcomers, it gives them a good reason to keep you at the same spot at the same pay grade for 4 years. They do not value your morale, only your skills. Sure jobs are hard to come by, but if you are competent in what you do, you can do much better.

  10. Hella yah!  I'd talk w/the high boss of the company and find out what's been going on, ask him/her if you've been doing well as far as performance goes and attendance; why haven't you been promoted?...If the boss doesn't give you a straight answer then leave that fking company (unless you've had lots of setbacks that they've noticed) it's not worth how your efforts been just been shruged off

  11. You should ask your supervisor why you haven't been promoted in a private meeting in a calm manner.

Don't talk about emotional reasons why you should be promoted, give him FACTS. Tell him what you have done for the company and the reasons why you should be promoted.

If nothing comes out of this... before doing anything rash....

Make sure  you have saved enough money for at least 3 months...enough money to take care of your expenses until you find another job.

Only then should you give your formal resignation letter. Be nice when leaving, this is business, you will need a reference for your next job.
