Pls help ...about visa interview Name !!!!!!!?

shouud i really need to hav a surname inorder to move to US ....if i dont hav sur name and in Visa if its writtern as FNU in the "given name " will i b havin a problem in gettin my social security card ???im havin da interview on 22nd of this month ....!!
