I'm just wondering which place I should go to and stay for a few days if i wish to spend time on the seashore near Florence cause I'll need to get back to florence again to fly back home to russia, please clue me up if someone were there, great thanks, Victoria

Viareggio on the west coast is about 2 hours away by train (6.30 euro 2nd class).

You could also get to Rimini on the east coast in 2 hr 30 min to 3 hr 30 min depending on the connection in Bologna (10.80 to 30 euro 2nd class depending on the trains.

I don’t think that sea is warm enough to swim in May at least some people do. Go to Viareggio, save time traveling, you can also stop in lovely town Lucca.
