  1. First of all, it's not underweight.  Secondly, it helps very much if you are listening to music while running in order to achieve a further distance.  Or you could watch an inspirational movie. I'm serious.  And yes the shoes are very nice.

  2. By running you will gain muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat so don't be too worried about losing weight. To increase your stamina you should run up hills as much as possible. Also, by running long distance you will gain stamina. You just need to push yourself. The shoes you have will work fine but my favorite is anything from oasics. When you run down the hills it will increase your speed.

    :] Good Luck!

  3. 1.  As long as you don't starve yourself, and don't feel light headed when you run, you will be fine.  One of the best things about being a runner is the increased metabolism.

    2.   With shoes, the most important aspects of buying shoes is the fit (this includes arch support).  All "true" running shoes are categorized by the type of arch you have (stability, motion-control, and cushioning).  For more detail http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/runn...

    3.  To train for increased stamina/longer distances, set an easy pace.  Try running for 5-6 minutes then rest for 1.  And only increase mileage by 10% each week.  For speed, set aside one day a week strictly for speedwork or weight training.  This is what the pros do, and it works for me too.  For example, do quarter mile sprints at the local track, and rest in between.  Good Luck!

  4. Just eat normally and if you are able to run you are not starving yourself.  You might even get muscle from running like me in my legs so you are fine and don't worry be happy!

  5. hey dont worry about it; running will make you more fit

its a healthy thing to do (meaning its good for your body)

thats a good weight too... look at me, im 16, 5'5", 110 lbs
