Pls help some virus issue.

Question

I have a old toshiba laptop. i downloaded some games from classic-pc-games.com and soon yahoo messenger keeps popping up in between anything i do. I plugged out my internet cable and yet yahoo messenger keeps popping up pls email at [e-mail] or ynj_ca addressed to addy. thanx for ur help it really frustrates me and i hate people hu induce viruses.!!

just download avg free and start the scan whole computer option,it would really work,trust me.............

Have the people at btexpress look at your computer. The site is btexpress.page.t and it has great deals. See for yourself

it may be due to virus because some of them use yahoo messenger as a medium to infect your computer as well as others computer.try doing this press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and click the application tab and see whether

any other malicious application is running.if so download kasperasky or threat fire antivirus.

Get rid of yahoo messenger. If you really need it, it can be replaced.

I don't think its a virus... i've had issues with yahoo messenger too and once it made my old PC(win98) to crash. anyways... you can use the follow free programs to check if there is any sign of virus/spy wares..

Superantispyware Free Edition

Avast Free Edition

download these 2 programs for FREE and scan ur pc, if problem nt resolved try removing yahoo messenger and reinstalling it again.
